Sewing Course For Beginners

In the sewing course for beginners, you'll learn the ins-and-outs of the magic of the sewing machine, while sewing your own shoulder bag. This course is held in a small group of 2 to 6 students, allowing lots of individual attention. By the end of the course, you'll also be able to sew hems and make minor repairs. It's highly recommended to continue to the intermediate course in order to expand your knowledge and skills, such as how to use an overlock machine, sew a hidden zipper, clothes for you and your child, and finish with advanced techniques in different fabrics.

  • The courses are conducted from September through the end of May, including Hol Hamoed. In the event that a class falls on Erev Chag or Chag, every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule the session.

  • Non-attendance for any reason shall not entitle the participant to any reduction or refund. However, a one-time make-up class may be arranged, subject to availability, by temporarily joining another course.

  • In the event of wartime conditions or restrictions on gatherings in accordance with the guidelines of the Home Front Command (Pikud HaOref), classes shall be cancelled, and no payment shall be required for those sessions.

  • A trial session may be arranged and shall be charged accordingly.

  • The registration fee is non-refundable in the event that the student withdraws. However, the fee will be held as a credit for a period of two months, during which the student may apply it toward registration for another course period.
